Privacy Policy
We keep this simple: your data belongs to you. We collect only what is needed to make Taskaro work, we do not sell it, and you can delete it at any time.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive the following from your Google account:
- Your name and email address
- Your Google profile photo (used as your avatar inside the app)
- A unique Google account identifier
We also store the content you create inside Taskaro:
- Tasks — title, description, due date, priority, completion status
- Notes — title and body text
We do not collect payment card details. In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and keep your session secure
- To sync your tasks and notes across devices in real time
- To enforce free-tier limits and unlock premium features when purchased
- To respond to support requests you send us
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database operated by Google LLC. Each user's data is isolated by Firestore security rules — other users cannot access your tasks or notes. Data is stored in Google Cloud data centers.
4. Third-Party Services
Taskaro uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) — identity and session management
- Cloud Firestore (Google) — task and note storage
- Google Play Billing — in-app purchase processing
We do not integrate analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or other tracking services.
5. Data Retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated tasks and notes are permanently removed from Firestore within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all your data inside the app at any time.
- Delete: You can delete individual tasks and notes in the app, or delete your entire account via the Delete Account page.
- Export: Tasks and notes can be exported as PDF from within the app.

7. Children's Privacy
Taskaro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top and notify users through the app. Continued use of Taskaro after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
